It’s been a challenging year and time to use up some of my stacked up annual leave!

I made it through check in, customs and duty free, without a purchase and, now waiting for my flight. The first leg is 14:30 to Doha in economy!

To help manage jet lag l decided to spend the extra $830 to upgrade my flight to business class for the Doha to Dublin leg.

I certainly wasn’t going to pay $4,770 to upgrade the first leg of the flight to business class.

I think l have a bit of an issue with time! We’re two minutes over scheduled boarding time!

Finally on board and leaving on the scheduled time.

First meal of the flight which was quite enjoyable.

A few hours into the flight and l’m already thinking “are we there yet!”

Arrived in Doha around 4:20am Australian time! The flight was relatively smooth. Just some minor slight sideways movement near Jakarta and around the equator.

The service was great and and they were straight on to ensuring we were buckled up when there was some turbulence.

Now waiting at my gate for the flight so looking forward to the business class leg to Dublin.

Unfortunately l was able to escape the duty free at the Doha airport.

I’m not sure it’s me! But, smelling a lot of samples as well as sniff coffee beans to clear the nose before smelling another sample!
