I was awake early and laid around thinking about what to do today. I eventually got up and showed before heading down for breakfast.
I then headed out for a walk around Kas. A quick photo of where l’m staying, Athena Hotel.

Then I set off on foot into the centre of Kas. A photo of a side street on my way to the centre. Street seating in front of little cafes.

A cafe with the mountains in the background.

A photo looking down a street leading towards the centre.

It’s around 9:20am and pretty quiet. The shops are still not open yet.

Interesting seating arrangement at one place.

I walked back to the harbour. There were some nice boat tied up in the harbour of different shapes and sizes.

A photo if the entrance to harbour with a small lighthouse.

A photo taken from the other side of the harbour looking across the moored boats to the hills.

While l was walking along the harbour l was passed by this funky little car.

I received a message from Kate to see if l was interested in going for a swim. I said yes. Kate sent me a Google map link to the swimming spot where we’ll meet.
It’s a beautiful spot that is semi secluded. The colour of the sea was amazing.

All l needed to do was find the stairs leading down to the water.

A photo looking back towards Kas.

A starfish caught my eye. Being bright red made it pretty hard to miss!

Kate arrived and l felt a little self conscious about my pale legs.

We went for a swim then settled on the rocks to enjoy the pomegranate Kate brought with her. Then a selfie with Kate.

Kate was joined by one of her Russian friends. I took a few photos trying to capture the area.

Looking between the rocks.

We then left to walk back into Kas for a late lunch.

Having a traditional Turkish lunch with Kate snd another one of her Russian friends.
