I’m heading to Kas today! It’s a little way from Antalya.

I’ve organised with the accommodation l’m staying to had someone shuttle me to Kas. I don’t really want the hassle for driving a vehicle on the other side of the road.
A customary selfie with the driver.

We left at 10:30am and hit the road. Driving through the outskirts of Antalya looking at the mountains in the distance.

A quick snap of the high rise accommodation in Antalya.

It wasn’t long before we were held up in traffic. Someone had an issue with their car by the looks of things.

Another photo of the mountains around Antalya.

A Blurry snap of one of a few road tunnels we drove through to reach Kas.

A photo of a line of ATM machines along the main road somewhere beyond Antalya.

Petrol is about the same as home, probably slightly more expensive.

44.24 Turkish liar equates to around a $1.96/lt back home. I saw this interesting sculpture at rest break we had along the way.

A quick snap of the coast through the windscreen as we were travelling along.

Then a photo of hot houses in one area we travelled through.

We must be getting close to Kas by now! we’ve been in the road for a while.

I took this photo of a sign with a red line through it. This symbolises you’ve now left this town or area whichever the case might be.
Finally! Kas!

You have to drive down into Kas.

We stopped at a vantage point to look down into Kas.

Then l was dropped off at the Athena Hotel where l’ll be staying until the 9th of November. I have a room with a view of the sea.

And a view looking over the town from my other balcony.

Thus my room.

And the bathroom

I made contact with Kate who suggested we catch after 6pm. Kate sent me a link to a great spot to watch the sunset in Kas.
I had a shower and a bit of a rest then followed the link to here!

I’ve been sitting on the top row watching the sunset.

A quick selfie

After sunset l walked short distance to meet up with Kate. It was so nice to see her again. We caught up over pizza.

It was the first real meal l had in nearly two days!
