More of Wiesbaden …

I had a bit of a sleep in this morning. Then a quick shower and upstairs yo be greeted by Oskar.

After some toast we headed off for the day. A photo of Greg and Monica’s place in Wiesbaden.

A grasshopper on the gutter. l thought it was unusual to see a grasshopper this stage of autumn.

We traveled to a place which has a train that travels a short distance up a slope.

A photo of the tracks.

A short video when we were on the way up.

A memorial to those lost in the First World War.

A photo of a Russian Orthodox Church.

I saw a truck with Veolia branding.

We have Veolia in Australia.

A quick selfie with Greg before the train ride down.

We then headed back to check on Oskar before going on a walk down to the Rhine. On our walk Greg pointed out the plaques in the sidewalk that have been place there in recognition of the Jewish people who taken away.

Another set of plagues.

A small statue down at the Rhine.

The Rhine at Wiesbaden.

A pink building

We stopped off at an ice cream shop for some “spaghetti” ice cream.

It’s not real spaghetti. It’s just ice cream that B us b made to look like ice cream. It was delicious!

We stopped in at a as small grocery store. I thought I would take a photo of the stake for saii ku e.

€3.99 euro converts roughly to $6.50 Australian.

On the way back to Greg’s place we stopped to chat with his neighbour. A short video of a military helicopter off in the distance.

That’s it for the day
