One last look …

I’m leaving for Belfast on Saturday. So l thought it would be nice to have one last look around Sligo. I caught the bus in from Carney.

I found someone’s bank of Ireland card on the floor of the bus on the way in. I gave it to the driver as l was getting off the bus in Sligo.

It seems Ireland also has the protesters.

Some conspiracy about the rights being eroded and the minds of children being controlled through social media.

Then l visit to a store with old fashioned customer service. The gentleman in a suit and tie working the floor came up to me and said it was lovely weather. It was around 7.2 degrees at around midday.

Good old fashion service here

I ended up buying myself a pure wool scarf. Then went out for a wander around. I stumbled across this person playing a piano and singing.

I then discovered another reminder of W.B. Yeats. I couldn’t leave Sligo without buying a book of Yeats poetry.

Then it was time to catch the 14:12pm bus back to Carney.

I hung around Emer’s place until it was time to drop her son off for a music lesson. While Rory was having his lesson Emer took me around to show be her house that is being built.

All concert block which will be rendered on the outside and inside.

The builders will need to put in a dummy floor where the hot water pipes will go through the house for heating.

The house is H shaped and reflects the Irish cottage style. The house is located in a wonderful location that provides some amazing views of Benbulben from inside the house.

Then it was time to pick up Rory and then we headed out for a dinner at a nice Irish pub.

In one section of the pub they have an old fashioned store.

Then time to get fuel.

If my maths is correct converted to Australian this comes to $117.15 which equates to 2.77 per litre.
