I’m so tired! The level of tiredness that you might leave something behind.

Sitting here in Doha watching the terrible stuff going on in the Middle East. I was just about to write something then l realised where l am. Might not be the right time nor place to philosophise!

Flight delay. Departure now scheduled for 2:30am. Apparently flight delayed for “operational reasons”. Wondering if what’s going on with Israel and Iran is the cause.

I don’t think the delay is caused by a flat tire! I’ve been listening to the announcements regarding boarding of flights to depart Doha.

All flights l’ve listened to the announcements weren’t departing for a European destination.

Probably not wise to fly in an area where missile and rockets are being exchanged between Israel and Iran.

Whatever the reason, it’s adding to the excitement of my trip! Finally, we’re ready to go!

I spoke with the lovely air hostess looking after me about the cause of the delay. She confirmed the delay was a result of the escalating war in the Middle East.

Finally, onboard and settled into my seat.

Home for the next 7:30 hours

Business class certainly has more perks that the 14:30 hour flight in economy class. Toiletries bag, and even pyjamas.

Two windows! They’ll come in handy as we come into Dublin.

Let’s not talk about the candle supper with fine china!

Now heading for Dublin …

Not sure if this is their normal route.

I’m now tucked up in bed and will try and catch some much needed sleep!
